One of my favourite festivals in any of the parks is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival which opens today at Epcot.

Quick Park Overview
Epcot has two ‘realms’ – Future World and World Showcase.
Future World features technological innovations.
World Showcase explores the culture and cuisine of 11 countries in ‘enchanting international pavilions’. Countries featured are: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada.
Must-sees: Soarin’, Spaceship Earth, and the award-winning IllumiNations fireworks display.
Frozen fans should also head over to the Norwegian Pavillion for Ana and Elsa meet and greets and the Frozen Ever After ride.
Special Events: Flower and Garden festival (Spring) and the Food and Wine Festival (Autumn/ Fall).
Special Event Overview:
Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is one of my favourite special events at any of the parks.
It features thirty unique kiosks set around the World Showcase lakeside promenade where you can taste yummy treats from around the world.
Visitors can also enjoy grand tasting events, cookery demonstrations from world-renowned chefs, book signings and meet and greets, tutorials in mixology, cake decorating and other culinary skills, and the Eat to the Beat concert series.
Must-tastes: The Greek food stall, cocktails in the French section and the Japanese food stall. In fact, I love them all and walk out completely stuffed…….only ready to go back the next day for seconds… yum yum yum!
What’s new this year: The ‘Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It’ tutorials, Beverage Boot Camp, Culinary Adventures with a Master Chef, The Secrets of Flavour 3 course lunch.
What you’ll need: Normal Epcot admission tickets + spending money to sample all the wonderful flavours + special event tickets for any of the special events you wish to attend.
