Dinner shows are a fabulous fun evening out for the family!  Here’s our pick of some of our favourites in the Kissimmee and Orlando areas.

Medieval Times

The Kissimmee Medieval Times is the original location, created in 1983, which has now spawned an empire of nine restaurants-slash-entertainment venues in the USA and Canada. The novel dining experience combines two-hours of courtly entertainment (jousting, falconry, hand-to-hand combat and other theatrics) with a four-course dinner and has become something of an Orlando institution. You have to try it at least once!

Pirate Show

Another popular Orlando themed-dining experience is the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure. Set aboard a replica of an eighteenth-century Spanish galleon, you can enjoy swash-bucking entertainment whilst feasting on typical American fayre. A great fun night out if you have pirate-loving kids!

Gospel Choir Brunch

The House of Blues restaurant chain operates its popular Gospel Brunch on Sunday mornings in eleven different cities in the USA, Orlando being one of them. I’ve heard many great things about it, and although I can’t vouch for it personally it definitely is on my own ‘must-do’ list. It isn’t just the uplifting singing; the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is reportedly mouth-watering too.

The Outta Control Magic Show

This popular Orlando dinner show offers guests unlimited pizza and drinks (including beer) and while the quality of the unlimited pizza might not hold up to close scrutiny, the quality of entertainment – kid-friendly humour and magic – certainly does. A great value and fun night out.
